Global thanks to Glenn and Gus for creating and maintaining their own international Kirsty sites, and to long time supporters Greg Brown, Scott Shelley and Marty Rudnick. We make every effort to ensure that the information on the site is fully accurate, but do not take responsibility for any errors which may be contained in these pages. Corrections are always welcomed.
Freeworld thanks V2 Music Worldwide for supplying recent releases and allowing use of audio clips for material. Also massive thank yous to the up to date information supplied by Sarah (and L-J) at MajorMinor, Gavin Newman, Jean, James and of course Kirsty herself.
Freeworld is run on a non profit making basis, and does not seek to obtain any benefit at the expense of copyright holders. Where possible, permission has been received to use materials for this website to offer a comprehensive service to Kirsty fans (and researchers), and the site carried the personal approval of Kirsty herself. If operating in such a way is unacceptable to any copyright holders we will be happy to remove any and all offending material from the site. Similarly, if any of the editorial content is just not to your liking please let us know!
Help to keep Kirsty’s web presence glowing
Remember, if you want to help finance freeworld’s long term future, you can earn us commission every time you buy anything at all from our retail partners e.g. amazon. Every little helps, and reduces the burden of debt we run under. We’re very proud that the site is not snowed under by intrusive advertising but these affiliate arrangements don’t cost you anything if you were going to splash out in any case. Everybody can win! See the sidebar for shopping links.
Donations via paypal are also now welcome! As they say, buy me a coffee (or a large glass of red to remember Kirsty!)
The old version of the site contained some red herrings in its discography, including the songs End of the Rainbow, Havana Moonlight, Siren in the Night.
Sadly nobody took the bait and the fictitious songs never took flight!
Thank you to Kirsty MacColl! This is all for you.
