Ruth Fogg from 2010. “This is probably my favourite song by her ever and I tried to look happy whilst singing it though it’s hard to. I recently attended her memorial concert which was at Shepherd’s Bush empire on the 10th of October (Her would-be birthday) It was such a special thing to attend and one of the most emotional things I’ve ever seen. I cried when Eddi Reader did her rendition on this song, it gives me shivers every time and reminds me quite what a tragedy her death was. R.I.P Kirsty MacColl.”
