Ron Don’t Know
Ron Sexsmith covered ‘They Don’t Know’ back in February as part of his acoustic online series. Better late than never, so here it is!
He’s sung TDK before, we have a recording of him at a White Ribbon benefit concert in Canada several years back, when his other song was Stevie Wonder’s ‘I Was Born to Love Her’. Worked well.
Ron is about to tour the UK (briefly this month and more in depth in Sept/Oct) as well as other international dates. He is unquestionably worth catching.

Kirsty’s cover of ‘You Still Believe In Me’ makes a welcome appearance on this new Ace Records compilation of Brian Wilson songs, and as the notes say, “those who own a copy of MacColl’s harmony-drenched single might have noticed a message etched into the run-off groove: God Bless Brian, a sentiment seconded by all lovers of great music.”
