Meet as usual in Soho Square at noon, then an afternoon of the usual malarkey (drink/chat/drink/sing/drink some more etc etc) will follow. The Spice of Life pub in Soho is all booked and ready for the throng. Party on!
To quote Karen in the Facebook Kirsty Fan Gang, “We have a few songs a few words a few tears around the bench in Soho Square, then go to a local bar where lovely people sing Kirsty songs. We have a few drinks chat about stuff, have something to eat. It is a really really nice afternoon spent with really nice people who all love Kirsty & her music, highly recommended”
Just found this site bringing back memories of fun studio work with Kirsty & hubby, the track was ‘All I Ever Wanted’ Kirsty also asked me to join her in the accompanying music video! Years later I am helping a rather special Royal Event under my new guise, and addressing a request for Ellie Goulding and who do I eventually contact, Jamie (her son) bless, such a small world What a lady what a great sense of humour Bless!
I cannot visit London without visiting Kristy’s bench and having a little moment and a tear.
I often wonder what the Table Tennis players make of it all.
I age and the bench ages but Kirsty remains as bright, jubilant and timeless as ever.
While the Sunflowers wilt the memories will never fade.
Happy Birthday, Kirsty! ❤️
